“My stay at The Carpenters Arms was particularly striking for the thoughtful touches in its garden view rooms, a comfortable retreat from the elements with high-quality amenities like Temple Spa toiletries and underfloor heating. While the culinary experience, particularly the acclaimed Yorkshire breakfast, was exceptional, service pace in the restaurant occasionally lagged, though this did little to diminish the overall enjoyment. It's a place that balances well-appointed accommodation and excellent food, making it a strong contender for a return visit, especially as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside.”
